To help a person who’s survived a heat shock you need, first of all to take the person to a colder place and to remove the unnecessary clothes.
If it is possible, give the person a shower with water that’s either not hot or cold, if not, use any kind of clothing soaked in water and start giving them water to drink. If the person is unconscious put him/her sideways and call an ambulance.

Wear bright colors, clothes made of cotton, and protect your head.
Adjust your menu. Let’s say, have an integral bread for breakfast with seeds, with a piece of cheese and tomatoes. For lunch have a cold vegetables salad with olive oil, and for a snack have some fruit with some yogurt.
Those with a higher body mass than those with lower should drink more water. If your urine is dark, it means that your organism is craving for water. It is recommended not to drink very cold beverages. Dehydration can be avoided by drinking lemonade every 1 – 2 hours. Little kids should drink at least a few spoons of lemonade every 15 – 20 minutes. It is important to drink anything before you start feeling thirsty.
Let your diet be consisted of lots of fruits and vegetables. Don’t stand too long next to the stove because the high temperatures can be lethal. A watermelon is the perfect sweet refreshment.
Take showers with water that’s not too hot or cold. Put soaked in water towels on your kid’s legs and arms.
